Miracle- Gro Performance Organics Vox Box

Miracle- Gro Performance Organics Vox Box

I received my second Vox Box from Influenster! Exciting!

I definitely feel fortunate to have received this particular complimentary Vox Box, as it was all about my favorite hobby, gardening!

It's the Miracle-Gro Performance Organics Vox Box! 🌱(see below)

This Vox Box is valued at about $45. In the box I recieved a full size container of Miracle- Gro Performance Organics nutrition granules, and later on I received a $30 gift card to Home Depot to buy either Performance Organics ground soil or container mix, and plants of my choice.

I chose to buy both, ground soil and potting  mix, because I wanted to test them both out since I happen to be re-doing some of my garden this year (every year) .

I immediately got to work with this fabulous gift and added the granules to my rose bush, newly bought pepper plants and basil (have not been successful growing veggies and herbs in the past), while I waited for the Home Depot gift card e-mail.

Here below, is what my rose bush and some newly planted sunflower seeds (6 ft tall ones and shorter ones; about 2 weeks old), looked like on May 29, 2019, right before using the Performance Organics all-purpose plant nutrition.

In the following photo you can see what they look like on June 22, 2019 after also adding Performance Organics  all-purpose ground soil as well (and another rose bush, but you can ignore that in the comparison).

Here is a close up taken om June 26,2019 (today) of what those beautiful new, red rose leaves are becoming. Where an old bloom was cut (one of the ones you see in the pic above) 3 roses are blooming!

I can't wait to see those beautiful flowers sometime this week! I will definitely take a photo and come back to update this blog!

Bottom line is:  I absolutely enjoyed testing out the Miracle-Gro Performance Organics line, and I'm sticking to it. Everything in my garden is now Organic and I can't wait to o outside every morning and bond with nature, organically, in my on backyard!

Boss Babe Vox Box

I finally recieved my first Vox Box from Influenster. Influenster is an app that you can sign up for, to receive free samples in exchange for reviews on the products that are sent to you.
I was thrilled to finally be selected to review some products!
When I received the box I immediately opened it, and the first thing that caught my eye was a pink full size bottle of Nature's Made gummy vitamins for skin, nails and hair, in strawberry flavor. The second thing I noticed was 2 spray cans. They were EVE NYC temporary color sprays in blue and purple.  Then there was a small greek yogurt cleanser from KORRES; a brand that is new to me, made with natural products, by women. The next item was a charcoal clay mast by C'est Moi, and lastly, a postcard from Special Delivery by Taste of Home. The postcard was an invitation to receive their monthly subscription box for free, by just paying for the shipping, using a special code for Influensters, which was five bucks. I ordered the box. It was kind of a mission because as it was my first Vox Box I did not know I had to do eveything through the Influenster app, but I ended up figuring it out.
Now for a breakdown of what I thought of these products.
The Nature's Made Gummy vitamins are amazing. I will probably continue taking these. They taste great and my hair is extra healthy these days. I'm sold.
The temporary color sprays, I probably won't be buying unless it's Halloween.  They are messy, used outdoors and got my fingers dirty. I liked that it did not make my hair hard, like a hairspray type of temporary color would, but it still didn't give me the effect of hair dyed color. If anything,  maybe for a picture,  but not real life. I did get introduced to the brand, and they don't seem bad. Maybe I'll try them for other products that are more for my everyday life, like shampoo or conditioner.
Now the Korres Greek yogurt facial cleanser. I was pleasantly surprised with this one. A little went a long way, and the texture was literally yogurt like. I also liked the feeling of my face afterwards.
The charcoal clay mask from C'est Moi was also an amazing product. It has great texture and did just fine on my combination skin. No redness after washing.
The last item is Special Delivery Taste of Home subscription box. This item I was most excited for because I'm always in the kitchen,  nevertheless, but unfortunately when I received it I was not too impressed.  The presentation was very nice, but nothing in the box was perfect for every day use, or too springy for being a Spring box. The items would be okay for a monthly subscription,  but not great enough for a quarterly subscription.  It cost the same as the Fab Fit Fun box and that box brings a lot more items of more value. Kitchen or not, I would choose that box over SD because of the value and number of items.
Overall I liked the Boss Babe Vox Box, but it does require more work than I imagined to complete the entire campaign.
And as Porky Pig would say,  "That's all folks"
